Attention! To prevent loosening or damage to the bolts, the rear suspension beam mounting bolts cannot be reused, they must be replaced. Strictly observe the tightening torque of the bolts.
Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Remove:
- wheels;
- rear suspension spring cup covers A:
- brake pipe fittings from the rear suspension beam.
Disconnect the parking brake cables.
Remove:
- ABS sensors;
- linkage of the height sensor of the rear part of the body of the xenon headlight corrector at point 1 (if they are);
- brake calipers (when replacing the rear suspension beam);
- shoe guides (when replacing the rear suspension beam) in C;
- rear wheel hub assembly - brake disc with 36mm head (when replacing the rear suspension beam).
Remove the brake pipes along the entire length of the rear suspension beam (in case of replacement).
Place a hydraulic jack under the lower spring cup.
Remove the shock absorber lower end bolt B.
Attention! Mark the position of the spring, this will facilitate its installation (see rear suspension spring removal operations).
Unload and remove the springs by lowering the rear suspension beam.
Install a hydraulic jack with a stand under the center of the rear suspension beam.
Wishbone
Remove the two rear suspension mounting bolts and, together with an assistant, remove the beam.
Installation
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Bleed air from brake system (see bleed operation).
Attention! Before driving the car, press the brake pedal several times to set the pistons of the wheel cylinders to the working position.
Note. If xenon lamps are installed on the vehicle, they must be initialized.
