- Mot. 1040-01 Trolley for removal and installation of the power unit.
- T. Av. 476 Ball joint puller.
Tightening torques, Nm
- Wheel bolts 90.
- Nut of fastening of a finger of a steering hinge 37.
- Bolt of fastening of a fork of the cardan hinge of a steering shaft 25.
- Front subframe mounting bolt with a diameter of 10 mm - 60.
- Rear subframe mounting bolt with a diameter of 12 mm - 105.
- Nut for fastening the reactive thrust of the subframe to the side member 30.
- Nut of the coupling bolt of the terminal connection of the ball joint pin with the steering knuckle 55.
- Engine mount tie rod bolt 65.
- Steering gear mounting bolt 50.
Removing
1. Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals.
2. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
3. Remove wheels.
4. Disconnect the steering joints using the T.Av. 476.
5. Turn away a nut of a coupling bolt of terminal connection of a finger of a spherical support with a rotary fist.
6. Partially disconnect, without removing, mud guards to gain access to the upper subframe tie rod mounting bolt on the side member, and unscrew it.
7. Remove the downpipe and attach the converter to the underbody parts.
8. Remove the engine mount tie rod bolt (from the engine side).
9. Remove the heat shield above the converter and the cover of the gear lever.
10. Remove the transmission control mechanism by unscrewing two bolts from each end of the mechanism housing.
11. Remove two nuts of fastening of a heat-shielding guard of the steering mechanism.
12. Unscrew nuts of fastening of the steering mechanism and attach it to a final collector.
13. Install trolley Mot. 1040-01 below the subframe.
14. Lower the lift until the cart wheels touch the floor.
15. Turn away bolts of fastening of a stretcher.
16. Raise lift carefully.
Installation
Note: Periodically replace the subframe mounting bolts and keep them tightened to the correct torque.
1. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
2. Install two rods in place of the front mounting bolts.
3. Bring the subframe close to the body.
4. Tighten, but not completely, the rear mounting bolts (start with the longest bolt on the right).
5. Replace the front of the sub-frame inserted bolt rods.
6. Torque tighten the four mounting bolts, starting at the rear.
7. Ensure that the heat shields are properly installed.
