  • Emb. 880 Inertial puller.
  • Rou. 943 Hub cap remover.

Tightening torques, Nm


  • Wheel mounting bolts 90.
  • Hub nut 175.

Examination



Check the bearing axial clearance by installing the indicator leg on the brake drum: 0-0.03 mm (maximum permissible).

Removal



1. Remove the hub cap using pullers Rou. 943 and Emb. 880.

2. Remove the brake drum.

3. Remove from the brake drum:
  • retaining ring;
  • hub bearing using a piece of pipe.

Installation



1. Using a piece of pipe and a press, press the bearing until it rests against the hub shoulder.

2. Install a new retaining ring.

3. Install the brake drum onto the pre-lubricated hub journal.

4. New hub nut and tighten it to the required torque.

5. Install the hub cap.

5. Adjust the position of the brake pads by repeatedly pressing the brake pedal.

6. Adjust the parking brake.
