Tightening torques, Nm


  • Upper shock absorber support mounting bolt 115.
  • Lower shock absorber support mounting bolt 85.

Removal



1. With the vehicle standing on our scaffolding, remove bolt 1 securing the lower shock absorber support.

2. Raise the car.

3. Remove the wheel.

4. Remove the upper support mounting bolt 2.

5. Remove the shock absorber.

5. Remove the shock absorber.


Caution! Shock absorbers are stored in warehouses in a horizontal position. In this position, the shock absorber reservoir, designed to work in a vertical position, can be emptied. Before installing the shock absorber on the car, squeeze it several times with your hands, holding it vertically.


Installation



1. Install the shock absorber.

2. Install the upper shock absorber support mounting bolt, lubricated with MOLYKOTE BR2, do not tighten it.

3. Install the wheel.

4. Lower the vehicle.

5. Install the lower shock absorber support mounting bolt, pre-lubricated (recommended product: MOLYKOTE BR2).

6. Tighten both bolts to the specified torque.
