Front shock absorber:
1 — frontal impact stopper;
2 - upper spring cup;
3 — front filter housing;
4 - nut;
5 - bolts;
6 — nut cover.
Place the car on a lift.
Attention: Make sure that the color marking of the springs and shock absorbers of the car is identical to the marking of the spare parts.
Unlock the steering wheel.
Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.
Remove the front wheels.
Disconnect the wheel speed sensor wire bracket. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor.
Loosen the brake shoe guide mounting bolts and hang the brake on the body.
Unscrew the bolts securing the shock absorber strut to the steering knuckle.
Unscrewing the shock absorber strut mounting bolts:
1 - brake shoe guide mounting bolts;
2 — shock absorber strut mounting bolts.
Disconnect the lower end of the shock absorber strut from the steering knuckle by pressing on the steering knuckle. Suspend the steering knuckle.
Unscrew the nuts (7) securing the shock absorber strut to the cup using a hex key and open-end wrench.

Remove the cup and shock absorber strut assembly with the spring.
Select the appropriate cups and install them along with the spring compressor onto the spring.
Compress the spring until it comes away from the cups.
Loosen the shock absorber rod nut using a hex key and open-end wrench.
Separate the parts that make up the shock absorber strut assembly with the spring.
Clamp the spring fixture in a vice.
Note: To facilitate installation of the new spring, observe the position and orientation of the spring and the cups of the fixture.

Place the spring into the groove of the cup.

Observe the order of installation of parts.
Be sure to replace the shock absorber rod nut.
Tighten the shock absorber strut mounting nuts to the spring cup to the required torque (62 Nm). Unload the spring.
Remove the spring compressor.

The installation of the remaining components is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: Secure the wheel speed sensor wires if they have been disconnected from the bracket.
Do not kink the brake hose.
Tighten to the specified torque:
- tighten the shock absorber strut to body mounting nut to the required torque (44 Nm);
- shock absorber strut mounting bolts to steering knuckle (105 Nm);
- wheel bolts (105 Nm).
