Remove the hub using a press, using a piece of pipe with an outer diameter of 42 mm as a mandrel.
Install puller arms (2) into the groove of the inner ring (3).
Press the bearing inner race out of the hub using a piece of pipe with an outer diameter of 42 mm as a mandrel.
Remove the outer ring of the hub bearing from the steering knuckle, resting a piece of pipe with an outer diameter of 75 mm against the inner ring.
Check up a condition of a nave surface and the apertures of a rotary fist adjoining to the bearing.
Replace an element whose seating surfaces are deeply scratched or cracked.
Attention. To ensure normal operation of the wheel speed sensor, do not damage the market part of the sensor on the bearing (3).
Position the market part of the bearing from the inside of the car.
Place a piece of pipe with an outer diameter of 75 mm and an inner diameter of 80 mm against the outer ring of the bearing (old bearing). Apply a press-in force of 50,000 N to ensure proper seating of the bearing on the hub shoulder.
Install:
- a hub, using a pipe segment with an outer diameter of 55 mm as a mandrel;
- elastic ring in the groove on the steering knuckle of the front suspension.
