Wheel replacement (Renault Laguna 2)

Note: The method of removal and installation is the same for all ears.


Remove the decorative cap (if there is one).

Loosen the wheel bolts while the vehicle is standing on its wheels.

Raise the vehicle using a portable jack.

Release the parking brake.

Note: Discs, use heads with protective pads.


Loosen the wheel bolts and remove the wheel.

Note: If the wheel does not come off after unscrewing the mounting bolts.

Replace all wheel mounting bolts and tighten them again until the bolt heads touch the wheel rim.

Loosen the wheel mounting bolts one turn.


To remove the wheel, move it on the axle and, if it still does not come off, tap the circumference of the tire sides 1 several times, lightly, on the inside and outside of the wheel.

Remove the wheel bolts and wheel.

Note: Often two types of wheel bolts are used for stamped steel wheels and for alloy wheels. They should not be mixed up.


Before installation, center the wheel on the hub or brake drum using the mounting lug.

Install the wheel bolts.

Tighten them by hand in the order shown.

Lower the vehicle to the ground, remove the jack and tighten the mounting bolts using a wheel brace.



Install the decorative wheel cover.
