1. Remove the wheel cover (where available) and slightly loosen each wheel bolt. Jack up the car and remove the wheel. Make sure threads and contact surfaces are clean and undamaged.
2. Thoroughly clean each wheel, then inspect the inner side of the wheel rim for signs of corrosion or other damage. Ensure that all counterweights installed are securely fastened.
3. Apply some anti-seize compound to the threads. Install the wheel and moderately tighten the bolts to specification.
