Removing the sensor
Remove:
- nut (1), while holding the pressure sensor on the rim;
- pressure meter (5).
Tire pressure sensor:
1 - lock nut;
2 - valve gasket;
3 - cup;
4 - valve;
5 - pressure sensor.
When replacing a valve, remove:
- seal (2);
- spring cup (3).
Disconnect the valve from the pressure sensor in the direction of the arrows.
Note. When replacing the pressure sensor valve, it must be replaced.
In addition, the TPMS sensor gasket is replaced.
Install the new valve as shown by the arrows in the figure.
Sensor installation
Install:
- cup (3) on the pressure sensor, making sure that the cup cone is directed towards the bottom of the wheel;
- gasket (2) on the cup, setting the conical surface from the side of the rim;
- wheel pressure sensor.
Pay attention to the correct location of the sensor on the rim:
- (1): incorrect setting;
- (2): correct setting.
Make sure the cup is fully pressed against the wheel hole.
Pre-tighten the pressure sensor, keeping it in contact with the bottom of the rim.
Torque tighten the pressure sensor mounting nut 8 Nm.
