- (R1): distance between the floor and the front wheel pivot point.
- (R2): distance between the floor and the rear wheel pivot point.
The front body height (W1) is the height between the floor and the head of the rear cross member mounting bolt.
Radius under load (Megane III)
Radius under load (Fluence)

The rear body height (W2) is the height between the floor and the shaft of the rubber bushing on the bearing.
Measurement procedure
Note: When measuring the values (W1) and (W2), take into account the height difference between the platforms and the lifting mechanism.

Measure the heights: R, R2 and W1 - W2 on the right and left sides.
Note: The value Wx to be entered on the measuring stand is the average value of the heights W1 and W2 on the right and left sides.
If the measurement points are located in an accessible place (between the rails of the lifting mechanism), use a ruler.
The platform is above the lifting mechanism
Measure the heights (1), (2), (3).
Example: (1) = 13 cm, (2) = 8 cm, (3) = 10 cm.
Calculate the height Wx: Wx = height (1) + height (3) - height (2), Wx = 15 cm.
Platform below the lifting mechanism
Measure the heights (1), (2), (3).
Example: (1) = 8 cm, (2) = 10 cm, (3) = 4 cm.
Calculate the height Wx: Wx = height (1) + height (2) + height (3), Wx = 22 cm.
Condition: vehicle in running order
A vehicle in running order is a vehicle with a full tank, in an unloaded state (without cargo in the trunk, etc.).
Megane III:
- (W1) — 164 mm.
- (W2) — 246 mm.
Fluence:
- (W1) — 184 mm.
- (W2) — 261 mm.
Note: Please note that the position of the vehicle changes depending on:
- engine mass;
- installed springs and shock absorbers;
- installed tires;
- filling of the fuel tank.
