The sensor is screwed into the cylinder block behind the oil filter (Fig. 8.57). To remove the sensor, disconnect the contact connector from it and unscrew it from the block together with the sealing washer. If the sensor is removed for a long time, plug its hole in the cylinder block.

When installing, replace the sealing washer, screw in the sensor to the specified torque and connect the contact connector.
