- disconnect the negative battery cable;
- remove the center console (see section "Body");
- disconnect the cigarette lighter connector;
- remove the heating element from the cigarette lighter housing;

- through the hole in the panel, squeeze the clamps and remove the metal housing of the cigarette lighter from the plastic frame (Fig. 8.61);

- disconnect the latches and remove the plastic frame through the front side of the panel (Fig. 8.62).
The cigarette lighter is installed in the reverse order of removal.
