All car models are equipped with a standard system preventing unauthorized engine starting – an immobilizer. The system is activated by the ignition key and an electronic sensor built into the ignition switch. If the immobilizer is on, the sensor receives signals from the key and transmits them to the multi-timer unit for processing. The multi-timer recognizes the secret code and allows the engine to start.
In addition to the immobilizer, the car can be equipped with an anti-theft system using various sensors and a siren at the owner's request.
