Operating principle
This system is activated a few seconds after the key is removed from the ignition.
When the ignition is switched on, signal lamps 1 and 2 are permanently lit. After a few seconds, they go out, which means that the signal code has been recognized and the engine can be started. If the key code is not recognized, warning light 1 flashes continuously and the engine cannot be started.

A few seconds after the ignition is switched off, signal lamp 1 starts flashing continuously.
The engine immobilizer system will only operate when the key is removed from the ignition switch.

Cars with a gasoline engine
If, after switching off the ignition, the warning lamp 1 continues to flash or stays on without flashing, this indicates a malfunction in the system.
Diesel vehicles
If, after switching on the ignition, warning light 1 comes on and stays on, this indicates a fault in the system.
