Operating principle

This system is activated a few seconds after the key is removed from the ignition switch.
When the ignition is switched on, signal lamps 1 and 2 start to light continuously. After a few seconds they go out, which means that the signal code has been recognized and the engine can be started. If the key code is not recognized, signal lamp 1 flashes continuously, and the engine cannot be started.

A few seconds after the ignition is switched off, indicator lamp 1 starts to flash continuously.
The electronic engine immobilizer system will only operate after the key has been removed from the ignition switch.

Cars with gasoline engines
If after the ignition is switched off, the indicator lamp 1 continues to flash or remains lit without flashing, this indicates a malfunction in the system.
Diesel Engine Cars
If, after the ignition is switched on, indicator lamp 1 lights up and remains on, this indicates a malfunction in the system.
