- continuous movement with the signal lamp of the minimum fuel level in the tank on;
- use of leaded gasoline;
- use of engine oil additives or fuels not approved by Renault.
And faults:
- malfunction of the ignition system;
- complete fuel consumption;
- turning off the candle, expressed in misfiring and jerking when driving;
- power reduction.
Lead to excessive heating of the catalytic converter, reducing its efficiency, can lead to its destruction caused by overheating.
Difficulty starting the engine
To avoid damage to the catalytic converter, do not try to start the engine (starter or towing), until the cause of the problem is corrected.

Exhaust Gas Control
The exhaust gas monitoring system allows you to detect malfunctions in the operation of the exhaust gas cleaning device. These malfunctions can cause the release of harmful substances or mechanical damage.
This warning lamp on the instrument panel indicates possible damage to the system. It lights up when the ignition is turned on and goes out after three seconds. If this lamp is constantly on, contact the Renault station, if it blinks, reduce the engine speed until the blinking stops.
