Removal and installation the cigarette lighter (Renault Megane 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.



2a. Remove the pull-out ashtray.



2b. Loosen the screws securing the ashtray bracket (refer to the illustrations).



3. Remove the ashtray mounting bracket from the instrument panel and disconnect the wiring connectors (refer to the accompanying illustration).

4a. Release the fastening brackets.



4b. Pull out the cigarette lighter socket.



4c. Remove the plastic case (refer to the illustrations).

Installation

1. Perform installation in reverse order.
