General description of headlight beam direction adjustment (Renault Megane 1)

Fine adjustment is only possible with optical equipment and this work must be entrusted to a Renault service station or a workshop equipped accordingly.



To adjust the headlight, turn the regulator located on the back of the headlight unit. The upper screw adjusts the direction of the optical axis vertically, and the lower screw adjusts the direction horizontally.

On models equipped with a headlamp leveling system, make sure the leveling switch is set to the "0" position.
