Removal and installation the instrument panel (Renault Megane 1)

Removal

1. Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

2. To access the screws securing the top of the instrument panel, carefully remove the left and right front speaker grilles using a screwdriver.



3a. Loosen the mounting screws.



3b. Disconnect the top panel from the main panel and remove it from the vehicle (refer to the illustrations).



4a. Unscrew the three mounting screws.

4b. Remove the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical wiring connectors (refer to the illustrations).

Installation

1. Connect the wiring connectors securely, then attach the instrument panel with brackets. Install the mounting screws and tighten them securely.

2. Install the upper part of the instrument panel and secure it with brackets.

3. Install the screws that secure the top panel and tighten them securely. Install the speaker grilles.

4. Install the negative cable to the battery and check the operation of the indicator lamps.
