Removal and installation the windshield wiper arm (Renault Megane 1)

Note: The wiper arms are very tight on their axles and will likely require a puller.

Removal

1. Turn on the wiper motor, then turn it off so that the wiper arms return to their original position.



2. Lift the cover, then unscrew the windshield wiper arm mounting nut (refer to the accompanying illustration).

3. Move the blade away from the glass and remove the wiper arm from the axle. If the arm does not come off, use a puller.

Installation

1. Make sure the lever is installed, then tighten the mounting nut securely and lower the cover.
