Removal and installation
1. While working in the engine compartment, loosen the mounting nut/screw (where is available) and remove the washer reservoir filler neck.
2. Set the handbrake, then jack up the front of the car and place it on axle stands. Remove the right front wheel, then unscrew the mounting screws and remove the wheel arch liner.
3. Release the fastening brackets and disconnect the hoses from the washer pump coupling (where is available). Where there are multiple hoses, mark their locations.
4. Trace the wiring from the washer pump to the connector and disconnect it from the main harness.
5. Loosen the mounting nut on the front of the tank, then remove it.
6. Perform installation in reverse order.
Washer pump
1. Remove the reservoir as described earlier in this Section.
2. Carefully pull the pump out of the reservoir and remove the sealing ring. Wash away any spilled liquid with cold water.
3. Install in reverse order. Use a new sealing ring when installing.

Washer fluid reservoir level switch
1. To access the level switch (where is available), apply the handbrake, then jack up the front of the car and place it on axle stands. Remove the front wheel, then unscrew the mounting screws and remove the wheel arch liner.
2. Disconnect the wiring connector from the level switch and carefully remove it from the tank. Remove the sealing ring and wash away any spilled liquid with cold water.
3. Install in reverse order. Use a new sealing ring when installing.
Windshield washer nozzles
1. To access the washer nozzles, open the hood, then gently pry the fastening clips with a screwdriver and bend back the noise-absorbing gasket on the hood cover. Disconnect the washer hoses from the corresponding nozzle, then press the fastening clips and carefully remove the nozzle from the hood.
2. When installing, securely connect the nozzle to the hose and press it into the hood. Check the operation of the nozzle.
Rear door washer nozzle
1. Open the rear upward-swinging door and separate the seal from the door opening.
2. Press the locking tabs and slide the rear part of the headliner off the mounting brackets.
3. Use a screwdriver to pry the covers toward the rear door hinges, then carefully bend the ceiling back.
4. Loosen the mounting nut, then remove the washer nozzle and seal from the roof, disconnecting the hose.
5. Perform installation in reverse order.
