Removal
1. The radio antenna mast is screwed into the assembly of its base and is removed extremely easily.
2. To remove the antenna assembly, you must first remove the overhead console. Slide the front cover of the console forward, then disconnect the electrical connector from it. Loosen the mounting screws, then slide the console forward and separate it from the roof panel. Disconnect the electrical connectors and remove the console from the vehicle interior. If equipped, remove the protective cap, then loosen the antenna assembly mounting nut (refer to the accompanying illustration). Disconnect the wire from the antenna and remove the assembly from the roof. Note the presence of a rubber seal.
