Disconnect the switch panel connectors.
Partially remove the driver's side door seal (1).
Disconnect the side 1 instrument panel panel holders using the lever (Car. 1363).
Detach the side panel of the instrument panel in the direction of the arrow (4) using the lever (Car. 1363).

Disconnect the wiring harness from the switch.
Loosen the screws (7) securing the lower trim of the instrument panel.
Remove the lower instrument panel trim in the direction of the arrows (8).
