Place the vehicle on a lift. Remove the engine oil pan guard.
M4R Engine
Move aside the cooling system hose (1) between the multi-function bracket and the water-oil cooler.
Disconnect the wiring connector from the oil pressure sensor (2).
Remove the oil pressure sensor (3).
Apply silicone sealant to the oil pressure sensor threads to ensure a tight seal.
Install the oil pressure sensor. Tighten the oil pressure sensor to the specified torque of 15 Nm.
Connect the oil pressure sensor connector.
Install the cooling system hose between the multi-function bracket and the water-oil cooler.
Install the engine oil pan guard.
Engines of the K and N series
Disconnect the wiring harness from the oil pressure sensor.
Remove the oil pressure sensor (3).
Apply silicone sealant to the oil pressure sensor threads to ensure a tight seal.
Install the oil pressure sensor. Tighten the oil pressure sensor to the specified torque of 33 Nm.
Connect the oil pressure sensor connector.
Install the top engine cover.
