Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.
Note: The automatic shut-off valve isolates the circuit from the atmosphere during disassembly, so there is no need to drain the refrigerant from the refrigeration circuit.
Remove the front bumper.
Fig. 8.159. Disconnecting the wiring block from the fuel pressure sensor: 1 – fuel pressure sensor
Disconnect the wiring harness from the fuel pressure sensor (fig. 8.159).
Remove the pressure sensor.
A three-function pressure sensor installed at the condenser outlet provides protection for the refrigeration circuit:
- the compressor power supply circuit is opened when the pressure drops to: 2 bar,
- the compressor power supply circuit is opened when the pressure increases to: 27 bar.
The sensor transmits the value of the refrigerant pressure in the refrigeration circuit to the injection system ECU.
The injection system ECU controls the electric fans of the engine cooling system depending on the value of high pressure in the refrigeration circuit and the vehicle speed.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
View the original on the specified resource RENAULTBOOK.ru
Check the condition of the sealing ring.
Tighten to the specified torques:
- pressure sensor (9 Nm);
- battery cover mounting bolts (4 Nm).
Attention! Connect the battery and perform the necessary programming.
Note: When replacing the valve, tighten the valve to 8 Nm using a wrench (Mot. 1608).
Check the functionality of the air conditioning system by running the electric fan at maximum speed.
Perform a leak search.
