Note: The filter is installed in front of the outside air intake duct and provides filtration and purification of air from contaminants before it enters the passenger compartment.


Removal



Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.

Remove the front sill panel trim, the instrument panel side panel and unfasten the passenger airbag cut-off switch (fig. 8.152).

Loosen the screws securing the glove box and remove it (fig. 8.153).

Remove the trim and unscrew the two screws securing the cabin ventilation filter (fig. 8.154).

Remove the filter (fig. 8.155).

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
