Do not lower the vehicle onto the wheels with the wheel drive shafts removed or with their fastening nuts loose.
To ensure proper operation of the wheel speed sensor, do not mark the position of the sensor toothed disk on the bearing. Be sure to replace the bearing after removing the hub.
In order to avoid damage to the bearing, do not lean on its inner ring, since the pressing force of the bearing is very high. Before installing the bearing, be sure to check the condition of the hub and bearing surfaces and the knuckle bore.
Be sure to check the condition of the steering knuckle seat before installing the hub and bearing assembly.
Clean the surfaces of the steering knuckle in contact with the hub/bearing assembly with a cleaner.
Replace an element whose seating surfaces are deeply scratched or cracked.
To facilitate the installation of a new spring, observe the position and direction of installation of the spring and tool cups.
When replacing one spring, be sure to replace the spring on the opposite side.
When replacing one of the shock absorbers, the shock absorber on the opposite side must also be replaced. Verify that the spring compressor is working. For safety reasons, do not leave the compressed spring in the compression tool.
During the assembly and disassembly operations, be careful not to damage the surface and protective coating.
Impacts must be avoided when performing work. Hooks, tie-down or mounting clips must be provided with rubber or plastic pads to prevent damage to the springs.
Replacing the springs is recommended if the paint is damaged or the spring has dents.
Springs are not always symmetrical, so care must be taken when installing. To do this, you can apply colored marks.
To prevent premature failure of the suspension spring, be careful not to damage its anti-corrosion protection.
During the assembly and disassembly operations, be careful not to damage the surface and protective coating of the anti-roll bar.
Replacement of the anti-roll bar is recommended if the paint is damaged or the stabilizer has dents.
The most critical and sensitive areas are in the main stabilizer elbows.
To prevent deformation, do not use the suspension arm as a support to lift the vehicle.
Before installation, check the condition of all protective covers. All damaged components must be replaced with new ones.
