Conditions for the diagnosis
For the OBD system to function correctly, there must be no electrical faults in the injection system, even if the OBD warning light does not come on.
When diagnosing the catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor, the absorber purge is stopped and the adaptive parameters are fixed at their last values.
Test procedure
Repair all electrical faults.
Erase all faults from memory.
Program all injection system settings.
Check the on-board diagnostic system.
Complete initialization of the on-board diagnostics system
Deleting faults from memory.
Deletion of faults detected by the on-board diagnostics system.
Deleting programmed values.
Programming required for OBD troubleshooting
Programming of a gear signal disk of the gauge of frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine.
The programming of the serrated signal disc is automatic and cannot be done with the diagnostic tool.
Programming adaptive correction of the composition of the working mixture.
To perform this programming, it is necessary to drive within the throttle opening angle and engine speed ranges specified in chapter «Adaptive correction of the composition of the working mixture».
