General information
Speed control: allows you to maintain the speed selected by the driver. This feature can be disabled at any time by depressing the brake pedal, (manual transmission clutch) or one of the system buttons.
Speed Limit: Allows the driver to select a speed limit. Above this speed, moving the accelerator pedal does not increase the vehicle's speed. The selected speed limit can be exceeded at any time by passing through the accelerator pedal resistance point.
A warning light on the instrument panel informs the driver about the state of the governor/speed limiter.
Lights up green: controller is on.
Lights up amber: The limiter is enabled.
Speed display flashes: the set speed cannot be maintained (e.g. downhill).
To control these functions, the injection computer receives information from the contacts listed below.
- In C1: switching on - switching off the speed limiter.
- In L1: enable - disable the speed controller.
- A B2: «weight» controls on the steering wheel.
- A G1: Steering wheel control signal.
- In B2: brake light switch input when contacts open.
- In B1: power supply for the current-carrying track 1 of the accelerator pedal position sensor.
- In H1: power supply for the conductive track 2 of the accelerator pedal position sensor.
- In K1: «weight» conductive path 1 of the accelerator pedal position sensor.
- In AZ: «weight» conductive track 2 of the accelerator pedal position sensor.
- In A1: Path 1 signal of the accelerator pedal position sensor.
- In A2: Path 2 signal of the accelerator pedal position sensor.
- In NC: channel sap II of the multiplex network (CECBS).
- B H4: CAN L channel of the multiplex network (CECBS).
- A A2: CAN L channel of the multiplex network (CECBS).
- A C2: channel can H multiplex network (CECBS).
The injection computer receives the following information via the multiplex network:
- vehicle speed (from ABS);
- signal of the switch of a stop - a signal at closing of contacts (from ABS);
- information about the included transmission (AKP).
The injection computer sends over the multiplex network:
- the value of the supported or maximum speed on the instrument panel;
- signal to turn on the signal lamp (yellow, green or flashing);
- gear shift information (depending on the model).
The injection computer receives:
- accelerator pedal position sensor information;
- information from the stop - signal switch;
- information from the clutch pedal switch;
- information from the on/off switch;
- information from the controls on the steering wheel;
- information from the ABS computer;
- information from the automatic transmission computer.
Based on the information received, the injection ECU controls the servo throttle valve so that it maintains the set speed during speed control and does not exceed the set speed during speed limiting.
Operation of speed controllers
Activation conditions:
- switch to position «speed control»;
- gear 2 speed;
- vehicle speed 30 km/h;
- control indicator light on (in green);
- click on the button «♦», «-» or «resume».
Shutdown conditions:
- hard pressing on the accelerator pedal (does not turn off the function);
- pressing the brake or clutch pedal;
- pressing a button «0»;
- switch on in position «off»;
- transmission is not included;
- activation of the trajectory stabilization system;
- intervention by the injection computer.
Operation of the speed limiter
Activation conditions:
- switch in position «speed limiter»;
- gear 2 speed;
- vehicle speed 30 km/h;
- control indicator light on (yellow);
- click on the button «+», «-» or «resume».
Shutdown conditions:
- sharp depressing the accelerator pedal with a transition through the point of resistance (does not turn off the function);
- pressing a button «ABOUT»;
- switch in position «off»;
- transmission is not included;
- activation of the trajectory stabilization system;
- intervention by the injection computer.
A flashing speed display informs the driver that the set speed cannot be maintained.
Standby mode
In case of failure of one of the elements, the speed control / speed limiting system cannot be turned on.
