Overheat prevention function
The overheat prevention system is controlled by the injection computer. Information about the coolant temperature comes from the injection system.
When the card is installed in the reader in the 2nd fixed position, the system switches to the monitoring mode. If the temperature of the coolant exceeds the threshold of 102°C 8 for 10 minutes after the engine is stopped, then the electric fan of the cooling system turns on at low speed.
If the coolant temperature drops below 95°C, the engine cooling fan relay turns off. The duration of the electric fan operation cannot exceed 10 minutes.
Operation of the electric fan of the engine cooling system
The electric fan turns on at low speed if the coolant temperature exceeds 99°C, and turns off when the temperature drops below 96°C.
The electric fan turns on at high speed if the coolant temperature exceeds 102°C, and turns off when the temperature drops below 99°C.
Operation of the coolant temperature warning light
The coolant temperature warning light comes on if the coolant temperature exceeds 118°C and goes out; when the temperature falls below 115°C.
