  • Shock absorber support bolt - 180 Nm
  • Travel limiter nut - 60 Nm
  • Wheel bolt - 90 Nm

Replacing the shock absorber



Special tool:
  • Universal suspension spring puller.

1. Clamp the shock absorber in a vice.

2. Using a universal puller, compress the suspension spring.

3. Unscrew the spring seat mounting nut.

4. Remove the spring and intermediate parts.

5. Reassemble in reverse order. Apply general purpose grease to the spring and seats.

The shock absorber strut is installed in the reverse order of removal, and the following must be done:
  • place the nuts securing the bolts of the lower part of the strut to the steering knuckle at the rear of the vehicle in the direction of travel;
  • tighten the fasteners to the specified torque.
