Removal and installation the subframe (Renault Sandero 1)

You will need: keys "10", "13", "16", "18", TORX T30, socket head "18", screwdriver with a flat blade.

1. Remove the mudguards and engine crankcase protection (see "Removal and installation mudguards and engine crankcase protection").

2. Remove the exhaust pipe (see "Replacement of exhaust system components").

3. Remove the catalytic converter bracket from the cushion.

4. Remove the three bolts securing the front bumper to the subframe.

8. Remove the upper tie rod mounting bolt...

10. ...and remove the rod.

13. Loosen the nut of the clamping bolt of the terminal connection of the steering knuckle with the ball joint.

14. Remove the tie bolt.

15. Use a screwdriver to loosen the terminal a little...

16. ...and remove the ball joint pin from the steering knuckle.

18. Install supports under the subframe.

21. Remove the subframe assembly with the anti-roll bar (if the car is equipped with it) and front suspension arms.



22. Remove the anti-roll bar (see "Replacing the front suspension stabilizer bar components"), if the car is equipped with it.

23. Remove the levers (see "Replacing the front suspension arm").

24. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the front and rear subframe mounting bolts to a torque of 105 N·m (10.5 kgf·m), the tie rod mounting bolt to a torque of 21 N·m (2.1 kgf·m), the tie rod mounting nut and the tie bolt nut of the steering knuckle-to-ball joint clamp connection to a torque of 62 N·m (6.2 kgf·m), and the rear support bracket mounting bolts to a torque of 65 N·m (6.5 kgf·m).
