Removal
Disconnect the brake light switch connector.

Turn the brake light switch a quarter turn counterclockwise (Fig. 6.48).
Note: Handle the brake light switch with care.
Note: The rod may only be moved when adjusting the X dimension (Fig. 6.49).

Installation
The brake light switch must be replaced in the following cases:
- if the rod was separated from the sensor;
- if more than three repetitions of size adjustment are required X.
Measure the size X piston.
If the size X less than 17 mm, adjust it by gently pulling the end of the rod (size X does not exceed 18 mm).
Press the brake pedal with your hand.
Install the brake light switch on the pedal assembly.
Lock the brake light switch by turning it a quarter turn clockwise.
Carefully return the brake pedal to its original position, holding it with your hand.
Note: The brake light switch is adjusted automatically depending on the position of the brake pedal.
Note: When adjusting automatically, you will hear clicks as the settings change.
Note: Connect the connector.
Note: Check the operation of the brake light switch:
- - press the brake pedal and make sure the brake light is on;
- - release the brake pedal and make sure the brake light goes out.
