Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.

Remove the center console mat (pic. 6.53).

Loosen the screws securing the center console and remove it (pic. 6.54).

Unscrew the adjusting nut, disconnect the parking brake cables in the area of the drive lever (pic. 6.55).
Slide the parking brake cables into the sheaths.
Raise the vehicle.

Pull the parking brake cables towards you from below the vehicle (pic. 6.56).
Note the cable route for later installation.
Disconnect the parking brake cables from the brake calipers and guides.

Remove the parking brake cables from the rear suspension (pic. 6.57).
Remove the parking brake cables.
Installation
When installing, lay the wiring along the old route.
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.

Turn the adjusting nut so that the X dimension is 17 mm (pic. 6.58).
Tighten the adjusting nut until the brake pads lightly touch the brake discs.
Check the travel of the parking brake lever.
Install:
- center console;
- screws securing the center console;
- center console mat.
Torque tighten:
- parking brake lever mounting bolts (8 Nm);
- center console screws (2 Nm).
