Note. When replacing the brake pads or brake disc, be sure to replace the pads or disc on the other side of the vehicle.
Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Install a pressurizer on the brake pedal to reduce the amount of brake fluid escaping.
Unlock the steering wheel.
Remove the front wheels.
Disconnect the brake hose from the brake caliper.

Loosen the two guide pin bolts (pic. 6.64).
Remove the brake caliper.
Remove the brake pads.
Check the condition of the elements of the brake system (replace damaged parts).
Clean the staple guides and the staples themselves.
Installation
Move the piston with a tool (Fre. 1190-01) to the bottom of the cylinder.
Install new brake pads, starting with the inside.
Install:
- brake caliper;
- guide pin bolts.
Torque tighten:
- guide pin bolts (32 Nm);
- brake hose (17 Nm).
Attention! Securely fix the brake hose and wheel speed sensor wires if they have been disconnected.
Attention! Do not kink the brake hose.
Install wheels.
Torque tighten:
- brake bleed valve (6.5 Nm);
- wheel mounting bolts (105 Nm).
If the brake fluid reservoir has not been completely emptied during work, bleed the air from part of the hydraulic circuit of the brake system. Otherwise, bleed the entire hydraulic circuit of the brake system.
Check the brake fluid level.
