Check the position of the power parking brake cable.
If the power parking brake cable is secured, install a strap clamp.
If the power parking brake cable is not secured, check the condition of the parking brake cable sheath in the area shown in the figure.
If the casing of the power parking brake cable is not damaged, secure the power parking brake cable to the bracket using a strap clamp.
If the power parking brake cable housing is frayed, replace the parking brake.
Installing a band clamp
Install strap clamps C and D on the two brackets A and B of the power parking brake cable housing.
