- master brake cylinder;
- hydroblock;
- brake fluid;
- hydraulic brake reservoir.
Place the car on a lift.
Connect:
- a device for removing air from the brake fluid tank of the car;
- diagnostic device.
Install containers to collect brake fluid.
Turn away the union for removal of air of a back right wheel.
Activate the right rear brake pressure control solenoid valve (AC 156 team).
With the solenoid valve activated, slowly depress the brake pedal as far as it will go and slowly release it.
This effect on the pedal allows you to create a pressure equal to or greater than 15 bar in the brake system.
Close the appropriate bleed valve.
Perform these operations with the following brake mechanism.
Strictly observe the following order:
- left rear wheel (AC 155 team)
- left front wheel (AC 153 team)
- right front wheel (AC 154 team)
Disconnect the air bleeder. Restore the brake fluid level in the reservoir. Check the tightness of the bleeder fittings on the brakes and the presence of protective caps.
When performing a road test, operate the ABS to check for proper brake pedal travel.
If the pedal travel has increased, repeat bleeding the brake system, excluding the brake pressure control circuit, and bleeding the brake pressure control circuit until the brake pedal travel is correct.
Therefore, it is possible to use an amount of brake fluid that exceeds the capacity of the brake system.
