Unlock the steering wheel. Remove the front wheels.
Remove the spring (1) with front caliper and brake hose (2) from the shock absorber.
Remove the two caps from the guide pins.
Loosen the fixing screws (1) guide fingers.
Hang the caliper to the shock absorber.
Check the thickness of the brake pads.
Replace defective parts.
Clear:
- pad guides;
- calipers;
- brake discs.
Move the piston inside the cylinder until it stops.
Turn the brake caliper up. Remove the brake pads. Install new pads.
To avoid driving noise, install internal brake pads (1) arrow (2) down as shown.
Install:
- guide pin mounting bolts;
- spring onto the front of the caliper, starting from the bottom.
Torque tighten (30 Nm) guide pin bolts.
Attach the brake hose to the shock absorber.
Attention. Do not kink the brake hose.
Install the front wheels.
Note. Press the brake pedal several times to set the pistons of the wheel cylinders to the working position.
