Removal the fuel rail with injectors



1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Unscrew the two nuts (1) of the fuel rail protection.

2. Unscrew the two nuts (1) of the fuel rail protection.


3. Remove the fuel rail protection (2).

4. Disconnect the fuel supply line connector from the fuel rail.

4. Disconnect the fuel supply line connector from the fuel rail.


5. Install plugs on the opened holes.

6. Disconnect the fuel injector connectors (4).

6. Disconnect the fuel injector connectors (4).


7. Loosen the bolts (5) securing the fuel rail.



8. Remove the fuel rail assembly with the injectors by carefully pulling it towards the front of the vehicle.

9. Remove the clamps (6) and remove the injectors (7) from the fuel rail.

9. Remove the clamps (6) and remove the injectors (7) from the fuel rail.


10. Install plugs on the opened holes.

Note: Always replace the seals and fuel injector retaining clips with new ones after each removal.


1. Install new seals on each fuel injector.

2. Install the fuel injectors on the rail.

3. Install new clamps on each fuel injector.

4. Install the fuel rail with injectors as an assembly.

5. Tighten the fuel rail mounting bolts to a torque of 9 N·m.

6. Connect the fuel injector connectors.

7. Connect the fuel supply line connector to the fuel rail.

8. Install the fuel rail guard and tighten the mounting bolts to 21 N·m.

9. Connect the battery.
