Removal and installation the fuel rail
Removal the fuel rail
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the intercooler intake duct.
3. Remove the fuel rail protection
4. Remove the high-pressure fuel line between the high-pressure fuel pump and the fuel rail.
5. Remove the high-pressure fuel lines between the rail and the fuel injectors.
6. Loosen the nuts (4) securing the fuel rail.
7. Remove the fuel rail.
Installing the fuel rail
1. Install the fuel rail.
2. Tighten the fuel rail mounting nuts without tightening.
3. Install high pressure fuel lines between the rail and the fuel injectors.
4. Install the high-pressure fuel line between the high-pressure fuel pump and the fuel rail.
5. Install the fuel rail protection.
6. Tighten the fuel rail mounting nuts to a torque of 28 Nm.
7. Connect the battery.
8. Make sure there are no fuel leaks.
