Caution: When disconnecting the fuel line, take measures to protect (using a rag) from fuel emissions due to the presence of residual pressure in the system.


Removal



1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the air filter.

3. Disconnect fuel supply line 1.

4. Disconnect the fuel return lines.

5. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator lines.

5. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator lines.


6. Remove the three fuel rail mounting bolts.

7. Remove the fuel rail. To remove the injector, first remove the clamps, then remove the injector.

Installation



1. Replace the sealing ring on the injector base.

Note: If the injector has been disassembled, also replace the injector head sealing ring.




2. When the couplings are connected correctly, the fuel supply line should click when they are connected.

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
