Checking the fuel supply pressure
Special tool required
- Mot. 1311-01 Portable fuel pressure monitoring device (with built-in pressure gauge 0-10 bar).
- Mot. 1311-04 Tee.
Caution! When disconnecting the fuel line, take measures to find (using a rag) from fuel emissions due to the presence of residual pressure in the system.
1. Remove the air filter.
2. Disconnect the fuel supply line.
3. Connect the Mot. 1311-04 tee to the fuel rail, then connect the fuel supply line to the tee.

4. Install a pressure gauge with a measurement range of 0-10 bar, as well as a flexible hose of the portable device Mot 1311-01.

5. On the fuel pump relay L, located in the fuse box in the engine compartment, short-circuit contacts 3 and 5.

The pressure should be equal to 3±0.2 bar. When applying a vacuum of 500 mbar to the pressure regulator, the fuel supply pressure should be equal to 2.5±0.2 bar.
