Fuel pressure test
Required special tool
- Mot. 1311-01 Portable Fuel Pressure Monitor (with built-in pressure gauge 0-10 bar).
- Mot. 1311-04 Tee.
Attention! When disconnecting a fuel line, take steps to look for (with a rag) from fuel emissions due to the presence of residual pressure in the system.
1. Remove the air filter.
2. Disconnect the fuel supply line.
3. Connect tee Mot. 1311-04 to the fuel rail, then connect the fuel supply line to the tee.
4. Install a pressure gauge with a measuring range of 0-10 bar and the flexible hose of the portable instrument Mot 1311-01.
5. On relay L of the fuel pump, located in the fuse box in the engine compartment, bridge contacts 3 and 5.
The pressure must be 3±0.2 bar. When a vacuum of 500 mbar is applied to the pressure regulator, the fuel supply pressure must be 2.5±0.2 bar.
