Coolant temperature sensor (Renault Kangoo 1)

The thermistor transmits a signal to the receiver corresponding to the change in resistance depending on the temperature of the coolant, and if the temperature exceeds 118°C, the signal lamp on the instrument panel comes on.

Diagnostics

Connect an ohmmeter between pin 1 of the sensor and the vehicle ground. The correct value is 160-1250 Ohms.

2 - Indicator sensor.
