Removal the fuel rail with injectors
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the air filter unit.
3. Disconnect the fuel supply line connector (1) from the fuel rail.
4. Install plugs on the opened holes
5. Disconnect the fuel injector connectors (2).
6. Loosen the fuel rail mounting bolts (3).
7. Remove the fuel rail with injectors as an assembly.
8. Remove the clamps (4) and remove the injectors from the fuel rail.
9. Install plugs on the opened holes
Installing a fuel rail with injectors
Note: Always replace the seals and fuel injector retaining clips with new ones after each removal.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following:
- Install the injectors with new clamps into the fuel rail until they click into place.
- Tightening torque of fuel rail mounting bolts: 7 Nm.
