Removing the front brake hoses
1. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Set the front wheels of the vehicle to the straight ahead position.
3. Install a spacer on the brake pedal to limit the flow of brake fluid.
4. Remove the front wheel from the vehicle.
5. Loosen the hose connection (1) with brake lines.
2. Remove the latch (2) from the brake hose.
3. If equipped, mark the position of the bushing in the shock absorber base with a marker, then unhook the bushing (3) from the base of the shock absorber.
4. Loosen the connection of the hose to the brake caliper.
5. Remove the brake hose.
Installing the front brake hoses
Attention:
To avoid damage to the brake hose:
- do not stretch the hose;
- do not twist the hose;
- make sure that the hose does not come into contact with surrounding components.
1. Set the front wheels of the vehicle to the straight ahead position.
2. Connect the brake hose from the side of the caliper.
3. Tighten the connection of the brake hose to the brake caliper.
4. If equipped, insert the brake hose grommet into the shock absorber base, matching the marks made during removal.
5. Connect the brake hose to the brake pipeline.
6. Install the brake hose retainer.
7. Tighten the connection of the brake hose to the brake pipe.
8. Install the front wheel on the car.
9. Remove the spacer from the brake pedal.
10. Bleed the hydraulic circuit of the brake system.
