Removal the brake pedal



1. Remove the lower dashboard buffer element (if equipped).

2. Disconnect the connector from the brake pedal switch.

3. Remove the brake pedal switch by turning it a quarter turn counterclockwise.

4. Disconnect the accelerator pedal connector.

5. Remove the accelerator pedal.

Note: : replace the part with a new one after each removal.


6. Unlock the connecting pin (10) between the brake pedal and the brake booster rod by turning it in direction (11) and remove it in direction (12).

7. Remove the brake pedal axle.

8. Remove the brake pedal.

Installing the brake pedal



Check the condition of the parts.

Replace any defective parts with new ones.

Lubricate the brake pedal axle with multi-purpose grease.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Adjust the brake pedal switch:
  • Make sure the brake booster rod is connected to the brake pedal.
  • Press the pedal with your hand.
  • Install the switch.

Install the switch.


Lock the switch by turning it a quarter turn clockwise.

At the same time, carefully release the brake pedal.

Note: The switch will automatically adjust when the brake pedal is fully depressed. A clicking sound will be heard during automatic adjustment.
