1. The brake cylinder can be removed after removing the brake pads as described above. The wheel cylinder cannot be repaired. To remove, unscrew the brake drive line, unscrew the two bolts and remove the cylinder.
2. When repairing, proceed as follows:
3. Remove both cylinder protective caps.
4. Pull out both pistons and remove the springs.
5. Use your fingers to remove both sealing rings from the piston.
6. Treat all parts with alcohol or clean brake fluid.
7. Dip the new rings into clean brake fluid and place them on the piston with your fingers. The working surfaces of the seal should be turned inward.
8. Insert one piston with a spring and push the second piston from the other side. Make sure that the edges of the rings do not turn over.
9. Secure both protective caps in the cylinder body. For safety, you can wrap a rubber band around the cylinder to prevent the pistons from coming out again.
10. Install the cylinder back into place. Make sure that both pistons can be removed again. When installing the brake pads, do not damage the piston protective boots.
