1. The brake cylinder can be removed after removing the brake pads as described above. The wheel cylinder cannot be repaired. To remove, unscrew the brake actuator pipeline, unscrew the two bolts and remove the cylinder.
2. When repairing, proceed as follows:
3. Remove both protective cylinder caps.
4. Pull out both pistons and remove springs.
5. Remove both o-rings from the piston with your fingers.
6. Treat all parts with alcohol or clean brake fluid.
7. Dip new rings in clean brake fluid, put your fingers on the piston. The seal faces must face inwards.
8. Insert one piston with a spring and push the second piston on the other side. Make sure that the edges of the rings do not turn over.
9. Attach both protective caps to the cylinder body. For safety, you can wrap a rubber band around the cylinder so that the pistons cannot come out again.
10. Replace the cylinder. Then make sure that both pistons can be reached again. When installing the brake pads, be careful not to damage the piston protectors.
