Caution! Do not turn the engine crankshaft in the direction opposite to the direction of rotation.
Caution: Be sure to replace the accessory drive belt.
Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the top engine covers.
Remove the right front wheel.
Remove the right front fender liner.
Remove the right side reinforcement.

Turn the automatic accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise with a 16 mm wrench (Fig. 2.38).
Remove the accessory drive belt.
Remove the tension roller
Installation
Use a brush to clean any deposits from the crankshaft pulley grooves.
Install the tension roller.
Tighten the tension roller mounting bolt to the specified torque (40 Nm).

Caution! The accessory drive belt has five grooves, and the air conditioning compressor pulley has six grooves. When installing the belt, make sure that the groove shown by the arrow in Figure 2.39 remains free.
Install the accessory drive belt.
To properly install the accessory drive belt on the pulleys, rotate the engine crankshaft two revolutions.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
Connect the battery.
