Bolt of fastening of a new tension roller of a belt of a drive of the auxiliary equipment | 40 Nm |
Attention!
- Do not run the engine without the accessory drive belt, as this may damage the crankshaft pulley.
- To avoid refrigerant leakage, do not damage (do not deform, bend, etc.) pipeline.
Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Remove:
- right front wheel
- front fender,
- partially right front fender liner,
- plastic shield under the fuel filter.
Automatic tension roller
Turn the accessory drive belt tensioner clockwise at the point (2) using a 16 mm offset wrench.
Remove the accessory drive belt.
Remove:
- bolt (3) fastening the tension roller of the accessory drive belt,
- accessory drive belt tensioner.
Installation
Attention! Use only a plastic brush or a soft wire brush (brass).
Clean the crankshaft pulley grooves from deposits with a brush.
Parts that must be replaced:
- Accessory drive belt
- Accessory Belt Tensioner
- Bolt of fastening of a tension roller of a belt of a drive of the auxiliary equipment.
Install a new accessory drive belt tensioner.
Automatic tension roller
Torque tighten the bolt securing the new accessory drive belt tensioner (40 Nm).
Install a new accessory drive belt.
Rotate the crankshaft two turns clockwise (viewed from the timing side).
Install:
- right front fender,
- front fender,
- plastic shield for the fuel filter,
- right front wheel.
