Attention!
- Do not run the engine without the accessory drive belt, as this may result in damage to the crankshaft pulley.
- To avoid refrigerant leakage, do not damage (do not deform, bend, etc.) pipeline.
Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Remove:
- right front wheel,
- front fender liner,
- partially right front fender liner,
- plastic shield under the fuel filter.
Automatic tension roller
Turn the accessory drive belt tensioner roller clockwise at point (2) using a 16mm offset wrench.

Remove the accessory drive belt.
Remove:
- bolt (3) for fastening the tension roller of the auxiliary equipment drive belt,
- auxiliary drive belt tensioner roller.

Installation
Caution: Use only a plastic brush or a soft wire (brass) metal brush.
Use a brush to clean the crankshaft pulley grooves from deposits.
Parts that must be replaced:
- Accessory drive belt
- Auxiliary Drive Belt Tensioner
- Bolt for fastening the tension roller of the auxiliary drive belt.
Install a new accessory drive belt tensioner pulley.
Automatic tension roller
Tighten the new accessory drive belt tensioner roller mounting bolt to the specified torque (40 Nm).
Install a new accessory drive belt.
Turn the crankshaft two revolutions clockwise (if you look from the timing drive side).
Install:
- right front fender liner,
- front fender liner,
- plastic shield under the fuel filter,
- right front wheel.
