Ream hole (1), using a drill with a diameter of 8.5 mm.
Loosen the hub bolts (3) camshaft pulley.
Install the tool on the cylinder head and block the camshaft pulley ring gear.
Tighten the mounting bolts (3) camshaft pulley hub.
Remove:
- nut (4) fastening the camshaft pulley,
- fixture,
- camshaft gear pulley.
Mark the position of the camshaft bearing caps.
Remove:
- camshaft bearing cap bolts (5),
- camshaft bearing caps

- front camshaft seal.
Installation
Parts subject to mandatory replacement: front camshaft oil seal.
Attention!
- To ensure sealing, mating surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil (don't touch them with your fingers).
- Do not scrape the mating surfaces of the aluminum parts as any damage to the mating surface may result in fuel leaks.
Using a gray matting wheel, clean the mating surfaces of the camshaft bearing caps.
Wipe with surface cleaner:
- bearing surfaces of the camshaft bearing caps on the cylinder head,
- bearing surfaces of the camshaft bearing caps on the camshaft bearing caps.
Attention! Applying too much sealant can cause it to be squeezed out when parts are tightened. The ingress of sealant into the coolant can damage some components and assemblies (engine, radiator, etc.).
Apply four rollers (6) plastic adhesive with a diameter of 7 mm on the cylinder head.
Install the camshaft with the camshaft groove vertically up on the timing side.
Reinstall the camshaft bearing caps in their original positions (flywheel side bearing no).
Install the mounting bolts in the order shown (1), (3), (4) And (2) camshaft bearing caps.
Tighten the mounting bolts in the order shown (1), (3), (4) And (2) camshaft bearing caps.
Install the camshaft bearing cap bolts in the order shown.
Tighten the camshaft bearing cap bolts in the specified order and to the required torque (10 Nm).
Check and, if necessary, adjust the valve clearances.
