Elastic camshaft oil seals are used in two versions; the first version has a spring (1) and a V-shaped working edge (2).

In the second version, the seal has a flat working edge (1) and a safety sleeve (2), which also serves to install the seal on the engine.

Note: Both seal modifications can be installed on the same engine. Seals are not interchangeable. Always replace the old seal with a seal of the same modification, except when replacing one or both camshafts.
